Great news our powered sites are dog-friendly. Pet Friendly travel and holidaying with your best buddies is a great way to ensure the entire family has a great break.
Particularly in winter you can find many different places to take your dogs for a walk. A brisk morning walk into Port Fairy where you can join, who we like to refer to as the coastal coffee crew for a great morning brew. Or wander along some of the most spectacular coastline in this great land of ours. The Great Ocean Road with all of its wonders is only a short distance away. Not that your dog will mind whether you’re on the Great Ocean Road or just that they are with you.
A few things to keep in mind
We welcome all your friendly well mannered dogs on our beautiful grassy sites. We do have a few rules that are just an extension of our general park rules based around courtesy and respect of other guests with regards to barking, behaviour and cleaning up after our pets.
We have also found that they are a wonderful conversation starter for pet owners and non pet owners alike. That really goes to the essence of the Holiday Park experience. Having been involved in caravan parks for some time we can think of several life long friends who started out as strangers brought together in a Holiday Park. BIG4 Port Fairy Holiday Park is a great place for this to happen, so much to do and so much to see.
Please note some breeds are restricted
- We have found all our park guests with dogs so far have been exemplary in their attitude and behaviour, however we have restricted breeds to those not on the dangerous dogs list.
- A copy of our rules and regulations as well as prohibited breeds are available from our office.
- Dog owners are required to have prior approval prior to arrival.
