Loch Ard Gorge in Port Campbell National Park features towering cliffs with walking trails and storyboards, Wreck Lookout, and walking track access to the sandy beach and cave below (steep steps). The gorge is named after the clipper ship Loch Ard that wrecked off Muttonbird Island on June 1, 1878, leaving 58 dead and 2 survivors. Loch Ard Gorge is less than a 45 minute drive from Port Fairy.
